Two people from Navarra who met in Reykjavik (Iceland), thanks to the common hairdresser, premiered the documentary Iceland, the perfect refuge, last Saturday in Pamplona, although the official premiere will be on March 14 in the Navarrese capital.
This adventure also has some other protagonists, such as the writer Eloy Moreno, Patricia Meneses, client of Pájaro Films and José Javier Aldunate, Jotas, traveler… But Iceland has the starring role.
The Pamplonians came to Iceland in a different way. The journalist Borja Lezaun says that after a difficult year, “I had the opportunity to go around the world with my partner and we went to Iceland.” Ignacio Juárez, on the other hand, is passionate about traveling and for this reason, he changed his job to Iceland, with the aim of “being happy”. He went to a country “practically deserted of tourists” to start from scratch as a tourist guide.
Lezaun confesses in “Boulevard Magazine” of Radio Euskadi that “it was difficult to select, because there was a lot to choose from”. Juárez says that in the future, they will try to subtitle it so that Icelanders can enjoy their own wild nature.
